Meet Mel

300-hour British Wheel of Yoga Teacher & Qualified Mindfulness Teacher

Hi, I'm Mel

I'm so glad you're here.

My journey into teaching yoga began long before I ever stepped onto a yoga mat.

For over 20 years, I've worked in support services, with experience in group facilitation, mental health support and counselling. Wellbeing has always been at the heart of what I do.

At a time in my life when I was looking for greater balance and a deeper sense of wellbeing, I discovered the profound impact that mindfulness and yoga could have.

They helped me find calm, joy and a renewed sense of purpose and inspired me to train so I could share those benefits with others.

Now, it's my privilege to guide and support others on their own journeys towards greater balance and wellbeing.

My Approach

My classes are about much more than moving through yoga poses.

I weave mindfulness, breathwork and mindful movement into my classes, creating space to slow down, reconnect with your body and quieten a busy mind.

I believe yoga should be accessible to everyone. You don't need to be flexible, experienced or have a particular type of body to practise yoga.

Whether you're stepping onto a yoga mat for the first time or you've been practising for years, my aim is to create a calm, friendly and supportive space where you can simply be yourself.

"A calm, welcoming class and a beautiful community. I'm so glad I joined"
